2011 Cricket action draws closer

The celebrity line up has been announced, the grand stands are prepared and the good weather has been ordered.  All that's missing in the lead-up to Stumping Serious Diseases 2011 is you!

To be held on October 15, Stumping Serious Diseases is a day of sporting action not to be missed.  The event will centre around a celebrity Twenty20 cricket match with festivities continuing on well into the evening with an exclusive gala dinner.

Guests are invited to watch the Gown XI, captained by cricketing legend and UOW Ambassador Adam Gilchrist, take on Wendell Sailor and the Town XI in a fun-filled match between famous faces from across the sporting and entertainment worlds.  This year's star studded line-up includes Merv Hughes, Carl Hooper, Damien Martyn, Herschelle Gibbs, Darren Lehmann, Steve Mortimer, Justin Melvey and Gus Worland to name just a few.

Organisations are being urged to take part in the fun by partnering with UOW as a sponsor of this high-profile annual event.  A range of sponsorship options are available, all including tickets to both the cricket match and gala dinner.
